Gardaí conduct search operation in Mayo town and probe is ongoing

Gardaí have conducted a search operation at a property in Charlestown.

It was carried out by members of the force last night and attracted a great deal of local interest.

A garda spokesperson stated: "As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information is available."
