Green Hubs Programme for Westport businesses

MAYO County Council is inviting businesses in the Westport area to register for the Green Hubs Programme.

Green Hubs supports businesses in improving their waste management and cutting down on waste disposal costs. This will be done through free mentoring and practical supports for businesses including the provision of bin signage and posters from mywaste.ie to help owners and staff improve waste segregation.

Over 70% of the waste found in commercial waste bins could be recycled or placed in food waste bin. This is having significant cost and environmental impacts.

Businesses can register their interest by completing a short survey before February 26 and the council will be in touch with further details. The survey is available here: https://www.mayo.ie/news/westport-green-hubs.
