Discovering Ireland’s Natural World Mayo talk with Eoin Warner
WILDLIFE documentary presenter Eoin Warner is delivering an evening of discovery and stories about the various worlds within Ireland's Wild Island.
Birdwatch Mayo is hosting the event where naturalist Eoin will give a public talk on Discovering Ireland’s Natural World.
Eoin will be speaking at the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar, on Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. The event is supported by Mayo County Council's Biodiversity and Heritage Office.
Eoin is a wildlife documentary presenter in both the Irish and English languages and has presented some of Ireland’s foremost nature documentaries in recent years.
In 2017 he was awarded two national media prizes for his work on Éire Fhiáin. He co-presented the English language documentary A Wild Irish Year and recently completed an internationally broadcast three-hour series titled Ireland’s Wild Islands.
Eoin is currently working on a natural history documentary on the Burren. He is an avid free-diver and loves nothing more than to be in, on or under the sea.
Eoin has travelled extensively to explore our wildest places, from Botswana to Antarctica, and has a keen sense of our ecological responsibilities. Eoin grew up by the Atlantic Ocean outside Bantry in west Cork and now lives in Galway.
