Major new role for former Mayo TD and senator
Consello, the leading global advisory and investing platform, has today announced former Leader of the Senate and Fianna Fáil TD Lisa Chambers as its Director of Public Affairs.
Ms. Chambers will build out the Public Affairs offering at Consello in Ireland to meet its growing portfolio of clients seeking Irish and European government and stakeholder advisory services, as part of Consello’s wider advisory offering.
With almost a decade in Leinster House, including in her role as Leader of the Senate as well as the party spokesperson on Defence, Brexit, Foreign and European Affairs and Chair of its Brexit Committee, Ms Chambers brings a unique breadth of cross-departmental experience and insights into key areas impacting business in Ireland and Europe.
A barrister by profession, Ms. Chambers holds a degree in Commerce and Law from NUI Galway and a Masters in Commercial Law from University College Dublin, before being called to the bar at Kings Inns in 2011.
She is also a former member of the Reserve Defence Forces.

Ms Chambers will join the Communications and Public Affairs team at Consello in Ireland, one of six business units in the newly established company, which was officially launched in December and has a 30-strong team working across offices in Dublin, Belfast and Clare.
