Temporary removal for Mayo's favourite bear

MAYO'S favourite bear is taking a short break for a little cosmetic pampering this week.

Paddington Bear is being temporarily removed from his bench on the Fairgreen, Westport, today to have some paint touch-ups completed.

It is hoped that he will be returned to his bench by the end of this week, Mayo County Council has informed fans in an update.
