Odds slashed on Mayo snowfall in March

Bookies Ladbrokes have slashed odds on snow falling in Ireland in March.

With forecasts for the first few days of March to be cold, odds have been slashed that snow will fall in spring going from 5/1 to 2/1.

Met Éireann have warned of snowy and stormy conditions that are on the way for Ireland for the last week in February and the first week in March.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes commented: “Just when we thought we had seen the last of the bad weather, the snow looks like it is blowing in from the west.

"Wrap up warm because wintry conditions could well be on the way.”
