Dry conditions look set to continue for Mayo

A rather settled beginning to meteorological Spring, with just occasional light rain or drizzle, according to the latest forecast.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28

Any frost, ice, mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning and the rest of the day will be largely dry with sunny spells.

It will become hazy later in the afternoon with cloud increasing from the west.

Highs of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, freshening near coasts.

FRIDAY NIGHT

After a dry start, outbreaks of rain will develop in the northwest and will extend across much of Ulster, Connacht and west Munster overnight.

Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, coldest in the southeast, with light to moderate southerly winds.
