Mayo Young Sports Stars: Big performances earned international recognition

Knock native Thomas Morley put in a number of stellar performances for the Sligo Rovers Under 20s last year, culminating in a man-of-the-match display in the EA Sports Men's Enda McGuill Cup final.

While Rovers lost that final against UCD following extra-time, Morley had done enough to impress the national team coaches, and he subsequently played for the Republic of Ireland Under 19 in a number of internationals.

You can expect to hear a lot more about this former Kiltimagh/Knock United player in future wearing the red of Sligo Rovers and the green of Ireland.
