Mayo Young Sports Stars: Hannah hurls her way to a worthy award

Like many of the winners in The Connaught Telegraph Mayo Young Sports Stars Awards 2024, Hannah Hautmann is adept at a number of sports.

Born to a German father and Irish mother, Hannah has played camogie at all age levels with both Castlebar Mitchels and Mayo, and it the camogie/hurling award that she will be presented with at the gala ceremoney to be held in Breaffy House Resort on March 7 next.

She started playing the sport in St. Peter's National School, Snugboro, and has gone on to be one of the best players in the county in recent years.

A fifth year student in Davitt College, Hannah is joint captain of the Mayo minor camogie team and also excels in football with her school and club.
