A bright and sunny week ahead for county Mayo

Night time temperatures set to drop but a mostly dry week ahead, according to the latest forecast.

MONDAY, MARCH 10

Any mist and fog will clear early on with sunny spells developing.

Most places will be dry with just a few patches of light rain and drizzle.

Highest afternoon temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, with moderate to fresh northeasterly winds.

High pressure dominating bringing plenty of dry weather overall.

Through there will be some showers at times in a northeast airflow.

Turning colder with some frosts at night.

MONDAY NIGHT:

Dry overnight with long clear spells, though cloud and patchy drizzle may linger for a time near the south coast.

Lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees, with some frost, in light to moderate northeasterly breezes.
