Dry weather forecast for Mayo St. Patrick's Day parades

The weather is expected to be good on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday next when St. Patrick's Day parades take place in towns and villages across Mayo.

A spokesperson for Met. Éireann stated: "Mostly dry conditions look set to persist into the weekend.

"The cloud amounts are a little uncertain at this stage.

"There will be light to moderate easterly breezes on Sunday.

"It will be potentially a bit breezier on Monday, St. Patrick's Day, with moderate to fresh easterly winds.

"Daytime highs will reach around 7 to 10 degrees."

That's good news for all those taking part in parades as well as those watching them.
