Pilgrim Passport initiative includes two holy sites in Mayo
A Pilgrim Passport for people who undertake pilgrimages to three holy sites in Ireland, including two in Mayo, has been launched.
Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg and Knock Shrine are three well-known Irish sanctuaries that have offered hope to pilgrims across the generations.
With the Pilgrim Passport initiative, people are invited to make pilgrimages to all three shrines in the Jubilee Year Pilgrims of Hope 2025 and take some personal time for prayer and reflection at each of these sacred places.
When pilgrims have completed all three, they can receive a special commemorative Jubilee Year Pilgrims Medal.
Fr. John Kenny, Adm., Westport, was on hand to launch the Jubilee 2025 Pilgrim Passport at Croagh Patrick.
