Shauna Bannon and Caolan Loughran secure wins at UFC London

Irish fighters Shauna Bannon and Caolan Loughran secured big wins as the UFC returned to London.

Dubliner Bannon's victory was hugely impressive.

It looked like she was destined for defeat as India’s Puja Tomar had her pinned to the canvas.

However, Bannon somehow held on and turned the fight around with a stunning armbar.

She now has a record of 7-1 in her MMA career.

In the men’s bantamweight division, Caolan Loughran secured a plit decision victory over Nathan Fletcher.

The result will mean a lot to Loughran as he previously lost to Fletcher.

He now has two victories in the UFC after two difficult defeats.
