Mayo's Dr. Norah Patten honoured at business awards

MAYO'S Dr. Norah Patten has been honoured at the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards 2025, sponsored by PTSB, on another memorable celebration of Irish business excellence.

Astronaut Dr. Patten was presented with a Special Recognition award to acknowledge her achievements to date in aeronautical engineering and for being an inspiration for future generations.

The black-tie event, held at The Round Room at The Mansion House, was a testament to the strength, innovation and resilience of Irish businesses, reinforcing the Guaranteed Irish commitment to fostering local enterprise.

Brid O’Connell, CEO Guaranteed Irish, said she was especially delighted to present the Special Recognition award to Dr. Patten, 'whom I personally admire and consider a great role model'.
