Mayo's Ella & Jo celebrate spa debut with luxury retreat

Multi-award-winning Irish skincare brand Ella & Jo marked a major milestone this week, hosting an exclusive retreat at the breathtaking Ice House Hotel in their hometown of Mayo to celebrate the launch of their Ella & Jo Signature Facial Menu, now available at the stunning Chill Spa.

This launch marks a significant step in the brand’s evolution, bringing their skin-loving formulas into the hands of expert therapists.

The event welcomed some of Ireland and the UK’s most prominent beauty experts. Irish attendees included Glenda Gilson, Triona McCarthy, Melanie Morris, Avila Lipsett, Sarah Battle, Michelle Fitzpatrick, Sinead O’Brien, Caoimhe McGinley and Mandy Maher. UK attendees included Doctor Shireen Emad, Caroline Young, Melissa Levison, Kate Hayes, Georgia Meacham, Maisie Bovingdon, Humeara Mohamed, Phoebe Barton, Twiggy Jalloh and Ateh Jewel.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the River Moy, the two-day escape was designed to fully immerse guests in the world of Ella & Jo - blending nature-inspired, results-driven skincare with relaxation, connection, and indulgent self-care.

At the heart of the retreat was the opportunity for guests to experience a Signature Ella & Jo Facial - a collection of expertly curated treatments combining the brand’s best-selling products with advanced techniques, designed to deliver visible results and cocooning the skin in nourishment and hydration.

The experience was complimented by a series of deeply detoxifying riverside seaweed baths, tailored massages, a restorative yoga and sound healing session, and exquisite food and drinks enjoyed in the most relaxing and picturesque of settings.

At an intimate dinner hosted by Ella & Jo co-founders Charlene Flanagan and Niamh Ryan, guests gathered around an elegantly styled tablescape, where seasonal, locally sourced dishes were served alongside bespoke cocktails inspired by the brand, in a true celebration of beauty, wellness, and connection.

Charlene and Niamh reflected on Ella & Jo’s journey and shared the story behind the brand’s growth.
