Gerard (Gerry) Boland, Aughadeffin, Kilkelly, and formerly of Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Jane.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken daughter, Michaela, sister Patricia Gaughan (Ballyhaunis), aunt Winnie Corrigan (Kiltybranks), brother-in-law Aidan, Michaela’s partner Liam and her mother Della, extended Boland, Lafferty and Hunt families, neighbours and friends.

Gerard will repose in his home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal on Thursday at 11.30 a.m. to St. Joseph’s Church, Urlaur arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon followed by interment St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Urlaur.

ANN BIRNEY, BALLINA

Ann Birney (née Diamond), Raheny, formerly of Ballina.

Predeceased by her loving husband Archie (Arthur). Beloved daughter of her late parents Jackie and Mary. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Ann, surrounded by her loving family. Ann will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted children Aubrey, Mark, Carl, and Suzanne. Her treasured grandchildren Kate, Lauren, Kyle, Ella, and Mia. Her dear brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, and her many cherished friends.

Funeral mass Tuesday, April 1 at St Benedict's Church, Grange Park at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.

JOSIE BRUEN, CARRACASTLE

Josie Bruen (née Rogers), Lismulgee, Carracastle, and formerly of Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon.

Predeceased by her son Jonathan and her parents Michael and Rose

Josie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Charlie, son Charles, daughter Samantha, grandchildren Vivienne, Ethan and Harry, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Tiffany, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Josie will repose in her home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal from her home on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Kilcolman cemetery.

MAUREEN O'MALLEY, HOUNDSWOOD

Maureen O’Malley (née Shaughnessy), late of Chestnut Drive, Mullingar, and formerly Coolure, Coole, Co. Westmeath and Houndswood, Cross.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence, dear daughter Mary, and all her 13 siblings, Annie, Bernie, Bridgie, Frank, Ina, John, Judy, Katie, Margaret, Martin, Mick, Patrick and Tommy.

Maureen will be sadly missed by her devoted sons Tommie, Christy, Michael, Gerard and Paul, her daughters-in-law Joan and Ursula, son-in-law John, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home Mullingar on Monday March 31 from 4.30 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday April 1 at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Taghmon Cemetery.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home 60 Springdale Road, Raheny, Dublin 5 on Tuesday afternoon, April 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Removal on Wednesday morning to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church Raheny arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. followed by cremation in Dardistown crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Dublin.

CHRISTY BYRNE, KNOCK

Christy Byrne, Blakes Hill, Salthill, Galway, and formerly Cloonterriff, Knock.

Predeceased by his brothers Thomas (Tommy Joe) and Paddy, sisters Mary and Josie. Deeply mourned by his wife Agnes and much-loved children Bernadette (Faller), Christopher and Olivia, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in law Sandra. grandchildren John, Keith Aisling and Sinead, sisters Kathleen McHale (UK) and Eileen Coll (UK), nephews and nieces, relatives and friends particularly his neighbours in Galway and Knock .

Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room Tuesday, April 1, within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra,, from 5.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, April 2, requiem Mass will be celebrated for Christy at 11 a.m. and following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Knock cemetery.
