Modular extension approved for Mayo national school
MINISTER of State Alan Dillon has welcomed news that a modular extension to accommodate three classrooms has been approved for Ballyvary Central National School.
The Department of Education has confirmed that approval has been granted for a modular extension which will provide a mainstream classroom and two extra Special Educational Needs (SEN) classrooms at the school.
Said Minister Dillon: “I want to congratulate principal Carmel Heaney, deputy principal Karen Morley, the board of management, staff and pupils at Ballyvary National School for their successful application which will provide much needed facilities for students with special needs along with a further mainstream classroom.
“I want to wish them the best of luck with this project going forward and have no doubt it will be a welcome addition to the school community.”
