Real buzz on Mayo island after three air crafts touchdown near scenic beach

Three air crafts have landed near a popular beach on Achill Island, causing an immense sense of curiously and excitement among locals and visitors, alike.

In a rare sight, they touched down at the scenic Sandybanks, located between the villages of the Valley and Dugort, within minutes of one another.

The three planes parked out at the Sandbanks on Achill Island, near the Golden Strand beach.

After disembarking, the three pilots revealed they were flying along the west coast of Ireland, having previously stopped over at Ballyconneely in Connemara.

A number of people gathered at the scene near Achill Rovers FC grounds to capture photographs and videos of the scene.

One local wit proclaimed: "When we spotted the three planes in the sky, we were not sure what was going on.

"We thought Donald Trump might arriving in Achill to announce his tariffs!"
