New acquisition confirmed by east Mayo firm

After the successful acquisition of Genfitt in the summer of 2023, the Kramp Group has now acquired the existing Genfitt warehouse in Kiltimagh, which it had been leasing.

Initially, Kramp explored options to build a new, larger premises but, after reassessing, recognised the potential of the current facility.

Reflecting on the decision, Kramp acknowledged that finding the perfect warehouse in the region had proven challenging.

Eddie Perdok, CEO of Kramp Group, stated: “After exploring several options, we decided to re-evaluate the current facility.

"We believe there is potential to increase capacity and efficiency in Kiltimagh itself.

"It is important for us, as a company, to retain the knowledge of the people of Genfitt as this is an accelerator for our business in Ireland.

"We are confident that we can modify this warehouse to meet our growth projections in the coming years.

"With this in mind, we seized the opportunity to purchase the facility. The official contract will be signed at the end of this month."

In the summer of 2023, Kramp completed the acquisition of Genfitt, aimed at strengthening its market presence and enhancing its portfolio of offerings.

This acquisition represents a significant milestone in the company's growth journey, positioning it for continued success and leadership in the agricultural industry in Ireland.
