Josephine retires after 47 years with Mayo company

LAST week marked a milestone in the life of Major Equipment employee Josephine Gallagher when she retired from the Mayo firm having given 47 years of dedicated service to the family-run operation.

Josephine, from Kilmovee, operated in many roles at Ballyhauins firm Major during those 47 years, including administration and HR, while her very last role was in handling accounts for the entire company.

Highly regarded by management and all staff alike throughout those many years of employment, Josephine was always so flexible, courteous and totally committed to whatever role she was asked to cover during her time with the company.

We wish Josephine a very happy retirement with many years of health to enjoy her well-earned break.
