Phase one of south Mayo urban greenway open

PHASE one of the Ballinrobe urban greenway is now fully open for public use.

The opening of the route has been welcomed by local Councillor Michael Burke.

This section runs from Ballinrobe Primary Care Centre to Ballinrobe Community School.

Said Councillor Burke in an update on his social media: “This is a fantastic amenity and safe walkway for the people of Ballinrobe community and surrounding areas.

“Well done to all involved with the completion of the walkway.”
