Official opening of Mayo island's new helipad

INISHTURK will celebrate the official opening of the island's new helipad on Friday, May 2, at 3.30 p.m.

Minister Dara Calleary will be visiting the island as the community marks this significant milestone.

The helipad, which was relocated from the harbour to a site just below the community centre, was made possible thanks to support from the Department of Rural and Community Development and Mayo County Council, showcasing a strong partnership dedicated to enhancing island infrastructure and emergency services.
