Exciting new Mayo basketball partnership announced

Castlebar Comets Basketball has announced a thrilling new partnership with John Carroll University (JCU) in Cleveland, bringing a unique basketball camp experience to Mayo.

This collaboration aims to provide our young basketballers with an exceptional opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable insights from experienced coaches.

The basketball camp will take place over one week in July 2025, offering participants an immersive and engaging experience.

Young basketballers will have the chance to train under the guidance of the JCU's esteemed coaches.

The camp will focus on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for all attendees.

Highlights of the camp include:

Expert Coaching: - Participants will receive top-notch instruction focusing on both fundamental and advanced basketball techniques

Skill Development: The camp will feature drills, exercises, and competitions designed to enhance players' abilities and boost their confidence and on the court.

Team Building: Emphasis will be placed on teamwork and collaboration, helping young basketballers build strong relationships and learn the importance of working together.

Fun and Engagement: In addition to rigorous training, the camp will included fun activities and games, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable experience.
