It's not all bad news on Mayo's weather front for Easter weekend
Mayo's weather will remain unsettled over the Easter Bank holiday weekend - but it will improve with some brighter and drier weather at times.
It will be dull and damp tomorrow with outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
As we go through the day, however, the rain will become lighter and patchier.
Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in light northeasterly winds.
Easter Sunday: There is some uncertainty in the forecast for Easter Sunday, but current indications suggest outbreaks of light rain will clear eastwards in the morning followed by occasional sunny spells and some well scattered showers.
Cloudy conditions look to build from the west in the afternoon with rain following. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.
Easter Monday: Rain will clear from the northeast on Easter Monday morning and will be followed by sunny spells and showers. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate southwest wind.
Tuesday: A mix of sunshine and showers spreading from the Atlantic. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in light westerly breeze.
It's a case of making the best of it as Mayo people normally do.
