The following are Good Friday's Mayo death and funeral notices.

THOMAS MCEVADDY, BOHOLA

Thomas (Tom) McEvaddy, Bohola, and late of London.

Predeceased by his wife Angela McEvaddy (née Maloney), his brother John and sisters Mary and Margaret.

Tom will be sorely missed by his children Sharon, Tom, Jason and Anne, grandchildren Daniel, David, Elizabeth, Thomas, Emily, Charlotte, Jack, Zoe and Kate, sisters Nancy, Della Ethna and Sheila and all his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tom will repose in O’Horas Funeral Home, Kiltimagh, on Monday from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral Mass takes place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph, Bohola, on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Following Requiem Mass, the funeral cortége will proceed to the New Cemetery, Bohermore, Galway, for burial.

JOHN LYONS, LOUISBURGH

John (Dixie) Lyons, Askelane, Louisburgh

He died peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his infant children Mary (1970) and Redmond Thomas (1977) and his grand-daughter Ashling (2010).

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Brenda (née O'Reilly), sons Richard (Malahide), Austin (Askelane) and John (Askelane), daughters-in-law Helen, Maggie and Mairead, grandchildren Séan, Sarah, Shane, Kate, Niamh, Áine, Eve, Austin, John, Edith and Lydia, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Mary Lyons (Chicago) Gertrude Corrigan (Belturbet), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Lyons & O'Reilly families and a wide circle of friends.

John was also predeceased by his parents Richard (Dixie) and Mary (née Scott) and his siblings Redmond, Dick, Paddy, Michael, Tommy, Beecie, Annie (Gibbons), Mary and Tess (Mahoney).

John will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Easter Sunday from 6 p.m., concluding with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. and followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh.

Mass of Christian Burial takes place on Easter Monday at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Killeen Cemetery.

CHRISSIE MCANDREW, BALLINA

Chrissie McAndrew (née Gillen), Cora Maria, Church Road, Ballina.

She died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Chrissie was predeceased by her husband Martin A. McAndrew (Martie), her son Paul, grandson John, son-in-law Gary Fitzgerald and her brother Paddy Gillen.

Beloved mother of Paddy, Mary Brennan, Ann Fitzgerald and Michael.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren Seán, Niall Jr, Mark, Martin, Sarah, Adam, Paul, Jameson, Otis, Ethan, great-grandchildren Anna and Sean-Gary, son-in-law Niall Brennan, daughters-in-law Sheila, and Nicky and Michaels partner Nicole, her sisters Vera Cope and Nuala Gilmartin, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Sunday evening from 4 p.m. with removal at 6 p.m. to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
