Car seized by gardaí in Mayo while on Easter patrol

Gardaí in Mayo have seized a vehicle while on a Easter roads p[oliciing operation.

After pulling in a motorist, they spotted one of the car was in very bad nick and unroadworthy - but not just that.

They also learned that the car had no tax or NCT and the driver was uninsured.

"The car was seized and proceedings will follow for the driver," a garda spokesperson stated.
