Funeral of Mayo man who died in tragic hiking accident
The funeral arrangements have been announced for George Brennan, Killeen House, Claremorris, who has died tragically in a hiking accident in Northern Ireland.
His body was discovered at Fair Head, Co. Antrim, last Sunday following an extensive search.
The news evoked a tremendous outpouring of sadness and sorrow.
George will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Tommy and Maura, brothers Gavin and Gareth, aunts Joan and Irene, uncles Tony, Padraig, Tommie and Joe, cousins and relatives and his many friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.
George will repose at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square Claremorris, tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
His funeral cortége will arrive at St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday with burial afterwards in St. Coleman’s Cemetery.
