Gardaí seize cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy and stolen motorbike after searches in Co Meath
Cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy and a stolen motorbike have been seized by gardaí following two searches in Co Meath.
Gardaí investigating the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin searched a business in Ratoath on Tuesday afternoon and seized cannabis worth €140,000 and the motorbike.
A house in Navan was also searched and officers seized drugs worth €12,000.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is being questioned at a Garda station in Meath where he can be held for up to a week.
Commenting on the investigation, Assistant Commissioner Paul Cleary said: "This search operation in County Meath targeted a drug supply network into the Dublin Region.
"Dismantling and disrupting drug supply networks into the Dublin Region is a top priority. My teams are working in collaboration with colleagues in adjoining Garda Regions to ensure these supply networks are identified, disrupted and dismantled."
